FILTER BAG DUST COLLECTOR
DAV series of filter baghouse dust collector is a pulse jet APC equipment with nominal airflow from 3,000 to 150,000cfm. The dust collector comes in various selections of filter media, sizes and configurations, in application ranging from cement, pharmaceutical, wood, metal smelting, petrochemical, food and beverage, finishing industries. In metal smelting plant, either EAF, coke oven or relatively new induction furnace, our dust collector are designed to meet hosts of challenges. High temperature beyond conventional filter media limit, temperature drop below vapour dew point, sprak arrest and material durability. You need both science and experience to get the right design. Airflow, static pressure and power consumption behave completely differently at elevated temperature. It is a combination of this theoretical understanding and field experience that makes our dust collector successful.
All DAV dust collectors are designed to meet Environmental Quality Act (Clean Air) Regulation 1978, with submission to Department of Environment.
 
DAV pulse jet filters cleaning mechanism generates a short powerful burst of induced air flow into the top of the bag. These bursts reverse the air flow momentarily flexing the fabric bags to knock off excess dust agglomerated on top layer of the filter cake while maintaining a functional filter cake. These diaphragm valves are pneumatically and actuated by direct acting solenoid valves, controlled by an adjustable electronic timing panel.
     
 
 
Pulse jet valves comes in various sizes and types, DAV pulse jet valve are computer-selected, based on parameter inputs like number and size of filters, dust loading and venturis.
Moist compressed air enters pulse jet manifold with expansion, resulting in condensation of water vapour. Water brought into filters by pulse jet system causes material to stick on it. DAV’s baghouse comes with auto drain and filter regulator to ensure no filter blockage due to this reason.

Fabric filters represent the porous mass through which the gas is passed unidirectionally such that dust particles are retained on the dirty side and cleaned gas passed on through. Filter media selection is a combination of consideration of temperature, chemical properties of the material, filter’s moisture absorption, surface finish, tensile strength, efficiency, permeability and cost.
